Austen & the Magic 8-Ball

Today, I'm at Austen Authors talking about my obsession with the Magic 8-Ball and how that, in an odd way, relates to Pride and Prejudice. ('Cause I can relate almost ANYTHING to Austen. Just try me. ;)

And, because lovely reviews make me happy (and if I didn't post them here, where would I post them?), below are a few new ones:
Kristyn at Romantic Love Books (on Double Dipping)
Debbie at The Reading Frenzy and Julie at Jewel's Bookshelf & Reviews (both on A Summer in Europe)
And an interview with D.A. Kentner, too!

Also in day-brightening news, Debbie, who moderates the B&N General Fiction Book Club in addition to her own blog, invited me to be her guest on B&N in May 2012 when A Summer in Europe is their Featured Read of the Month. I'm SO excited about that already!!

Finally, who else has been hooked on ABC's "Once Upon a Time"??! I am LOVING this show, and I usually don't get sucked into a series so quickly. I'm finding the parallel story to be really fascinating and the fairy-tale characters to be compelling to watch -- both in the past and in the present. Any thoughts?

Congrats on all the reviews! Every nice thing said about your books is well-deserved.

I'm hooked on Once Upon a Time, too. It's my new favorite. Very original and the characters are great!

From the moment I first heard about Once Upon a Tome, I knew I had to check it out, as I've always had a thing for fairy tales. But when I heard it was form the writers of Lost, well that just sealed the deal. Lost was my obsession back in the day and I still miss it. I am happy to say, Once Upon a Time lives up to all the hype. It's an amazing show and I can't wait to see what they come up with next! And the cast is amazing. Love it!

Edie, thank you, my dear!! Your kind words are greatly appreciated ;). xo Glad you are hooked on Once Upon a Time, too!

Margay, I really enjoyed Lost (in the beginning especially, when I still thought I understood what was happening, LOL), but I love Once Upon a Time even more. And, you probably recognized the Lost references during Once but, from what I understand, there are TONS of them on the new show!

Pamala, thank you so much...I was excited ;). And thanks for visiting me on AuAu, as well!! I knew we had a lot in common, even before sharing a mutual oracle love ;).

Congratulations on the great reviews! I can't wait to read A Summer in Europe!
And I am also loving Once Upon a Time. So creative! I'm also hooked on Grimm, which is darker, but also based on fairy tales.

Yay on the reviews and being selected as B&N's Book of the Month!

I love Once Upon a Time too!! I wasn't sure how they were going to pull it off, but it is so well done and the characters are all terrific.

Maria and Robin, thanks to you both!! I'm so glad you two are loving "Once Upon a Time" as well. I wish we could have a TV party with all of us here, so we could watch the next episode on Sunday night together! I'd make popcorn... ;)
